How Cardholders can benefit from participation in EAPS

Increased points of acceptance

Cardholders can use all ATMs and POS terminals of EAPS participating schemes – not only those which accept the international card scheme brands. This increase in ATMs and POS numbers benefits the card holder throughout Europe.

No change in card usage

Throughout Europe cardholders will benefit from the same payment experience as in their home country, as the EAPS can be considered an extension of the regional card scheme.

No increased charges

In accordance with European Regulations, the card fees paid by the cardholders are the same for all Euro transactions throughout the Euro zone. Cardholders will benefit from the low EAPS fees wherever they use their card.

Easily identified EAPS logo

Cardholders can easily identify the ATMs and POS terminals where they can use their EAPS cards. The logo will be displayed at all the ATMs and POS locations participating in EAPS.
