About EAPS

EAPS was created by six major regional card schemes in Europe, each offering highly efficient and cost-effective card payment services built over the past 20 years; serving European cardholders, retailers and financial institutions.

EAPS is a leading contributor to the further development of the Single Euro Payment Area (SEPA) for card payments in Europe. By connecting the participating card-schemes, the EAPS builds on the past investments by member banks and leverages existing assets.

The EAPS enables European banks to deliver to their cardholders and retailers the same card payment experience throughout Europe at the lowest cost for all participants.
